It is currently supplied through China and expected to be assembled and supplied from the USA by the end of 2024. The watch will monitor the host health vitals from their wrist and will also collect measurements from other home monitoring equipment that Clovis supplies like their pill dispenser, glucose meter and weight scale. The firmware embedded into the DR Watch is designed to receive blue tooth transmissions from the pill dispenser and the other standalone products then upload the collected data to the health cloud using cellular service built into the watch. The DR Watch will remind the host when it is time to take their medication and record the time and date when the medication was taken. As the patients’ medical Professional, the D R Watch gives me information that is traditionally not available. Knowing if and when the medication is taken is good information. fifty percent of people who arrive in the emergency room over the age of sixty-five is related to under or over medicated. Smart Diabetes glucose meter is FDA approved and designed for home monitoring use. The meter and software has too many features to discuss all of them in this video. However, the meter exceeds all the requirements a doctor would want and there is no need for the patient logbook to record readings. The glucose test results will transfer through blue tooth technology from the meter to the DR Watch and then seamlessly transmitted cellularly to the health cloud. I can be alerted by text, email or I V R if the patient is trending badly and is in need of assistance. I can also connect to my patient by text, email or speak to them through the watch. Rapid weight gain or loss is important to track it can be a precursor to multiple health problems that can go unnoticed if not recorded and monitored. I will receive a message if my patient breached the weight loss or gain based on thresholds that I preset for them. If the patient is wearing the DR Watch the vitals are collected 24/7 that include Temperature, blood oxygen, heart rate, blood pressure, stress monitor, Activity fitness tracking and abnormal heart rate alert. All of the readings will be stored in the health cloud with the weight, medication adherence and glucose readings if the stand-alone equipment is in use. It isn’t only Clovis products that can connect to the DR Watch. Any blue tooth capable product can have connection with a small amount of cooperation from the manufacturer. Dexcom continuous glucose monitoring is the most recent addition product that can transfer data seamlessly through the DR Watch and with the option to utilize our remote registered nurses needed to support the needs of CPT Code 99457 and G0511. The nurses are trained for remote patient support and is fully aware of our products and software platform. Clovis’ new DR Watch also has emergency service capabilities. The service features are built into the watch and can be remotely activated. Giving the patient possibly the best emergency wearable in the market at a low cost.
